Show007: Interview with James Brown
This week is the third interview from Forge Midwest. On deck is James Brown, creator of Brick Battles, Death’s Door, and an upcoming game Blood and Bronze. We talk mainly about his games, especially Death’s Door. I found it especially interesting to see how well all of his mechanics have been considered. We also discussed death, and the ability of roleplaying games to affect peoples lives.
There may be a bit of hiss on this and the next interview. I had the microphone levels too low so I had to amplify the sound quite a bit. Live and Learn.

Heya,
Good interview, Clyde; I’ve had really good feedback from my local friends on the quality of the show. You did an excellent job of drawing me out and getting me to talk in depth. I should have warned you that I don’t know how to shut up, though.
James
Hey James,
I deliberately had my microphone input set lower than yours. I found out that wasn’t necessary after the fact because my equipment records each microphone as it’s own track. Anyway, the point I’m trying to make is I wanted you to talk. I’m glad you’re happy with the interview.
