Cool. I understand what you’re saying. I’m not sure I agree about it being questionable, but I definitely get where you’re coming from.

I’d just listened to several casts addressing gender equality in gaming (including Mickey’s), so it was kind of on my mind, and when he said it I was kind of stunned and caught off guard.

I still think it’s a little questionable… but it’s probably also not that big of a deal.

I believe with the qualifier that he was speaking of the six to eight year old audience of Bella Sera, then yes, that’s what he said.

I know we like to pretend we don’t have any gender differences, but I didn’t find his comment very controversial. I personally think we should be focusing on equality and equal opportunity and not trying to pretend there aren’t some general preferences that are either based on our physical composition or societal training.

Of course perhaps I’m making a mountain out of a molehill?
